Hosted at Manresa Wilds, a 125-acre decommissioned power plant on the shores of the Long Island Sound, by Outsiders Fund and Open Sauce, this exclusive gathering offers a curated experience bringing together an incredible group of individuals to explore the creator economy and the art of building brands. The event is designed to foster meaningful connections through shared experiences, networking opportunities, and curated sessions.

Required Waiver

Due to the unique nature of Manresa Wilds all attendees must sign a waiver to enter Manresa Island.

Travel

You are responsible for arranging your own travel to Norwalk, CT.

Nearby airports:

John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) - New York

LaGuardia Airport (LGA) - New York

Westchester County Airport (HPN) - Westchester, NY

Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN) - Connecticut

Train option:

Metro-North Line → South Norwalk Station

Ground Transportation:

Uber is best from airports or the train station.

From there, we’ve got you covered. Hotel accommodations, all meals, all the fun, and transfers between hotel and the island are arranged.

Make sure you are in Norwalk by 3:30pm on the 7th and depart after 5:30pm on the 8th - you won’t want to miss a moment of this experience!

Parking

If you are local and will be driving yourself to Manresa Island, you will need to give your name at the Guard booth at the entrance. Once inside the gates, follow the road to the front of the Power Plant - parking is available to the left.

Event Shuttle

Shuttles will transport guests between the hotel and Manresa Island during the event.

  • Thursday: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Dress Code & Weather

This is a mostly outdoor event. Average CT temps in early May range from 50-68 degrees F. New England weather can be unpredictable and we are having an unusually cool spring. Be sure to check temps when packing.

Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes - many activities involve walking, exploring, or physical movement.

Activity attire:

If you registered for archery, rappelling, birding, laser tag or e-biking, please dress accordingly.

Manresa Island is on the coast - wind is common and dressing in layers is recommended. A jacket for the evening is a must.

If you requested hotel accommodations you will receive an email with your lodging details. Please note the night of Thursday May 7th is covered. Additional nights and all incidentals are at your own expense.

The Power Plant & Accessibility

A tour of the decommissioned power plant will be available (optional).

All content sessions and panels will take place in the Turbine Hall.

Please note: The Power Plant and Turbine Hall are not ADA accessible and include many stairs. Let us know in advance if you require additional assistance.

WiFi and cell service are available on Manresa Island.

Food & Beverage

All meals, snacks, and beverages will be provided on-site.

Morning Wellness

If you signed up during registration, join us for a wellness session on Friday morning. Activities offered are Yoga and a group run on the island.

  • Shuttle departs hotel at 7:15 AM
  • You will return in time to shower and change before the day begins

Bugs & Ticks

Manresa Island is a nature preserve - and it is tick season in Connecticut. Bug spray will be provided on-site and preventative measures have been taken, but we recommend taking personal precautions.
